This week marked the start of a great addition to the Country Store: Fresh fruit and vegetables are available. Included are bananas, lemons, potatoes, tomatoes, avocados, seasonal peaches, and much more. Stop by the store to see for yourself.
“Remember, remember the 5th of November….” On Saturday, November 5th, 2011 the Indianola Country Store was hit hard by a flash mob protesting the undo influence of larger institutions. The Country Store is not only the largest institution in Indianola, it’s well…the only institution in town.
The good-natured group of protesters consisting of regulars of the Indianola Breakfast Club, created a variety of very clever signs such as: “99% Occupy Indianola”, “Bigger Muffin Tops” and “Rob for President”.
Come help Indianola celebrate Indianola Days. Sand castle contest, fun run and a terrific salmon bake keep residents and visitors coming back each year. To find out more visit or call the Indianola Country Store.

On Sunday, May 29th, 2011 Rob and Tia Trueb celebrated their 20th anniversary of ownership of the Indianola Country Store. Over the years, they’ve put in a tremendous amount of work improving the store and adding to its offerings. Above all, the Truebs’ help set a warm and friendly atmosphere for all Indianola residents and visitors to enjoy. Drop on by the store to congratulate and thank Rob and Tia for being such an important part of the Indianola community.
